This year, the Welsh Colleges' Annual dinner weeken was held on 6-8th February in and around he Tewkesbury area.
After meeting up for drinks in Tewkesbury on the Friday night, the weekend kicked off with a tour arounf the local are the next day. We visited Eckington and Elmley Castle in the morning, and Ashton-under-Hill and Beckford after lunch. The number of ringers seemed ti fall dramatically in the late afternoon, several people being sadly deluded that ringing was of a lower entertainment value than a five-nations rugby match.
Back at the hall we held the AGM, chaired by Alison with the aid of Malcolm's parrot.
The dinner in the evening was at The Bell Hotel, Tewkesbury, and was certainly enjoyed, if not remembered, by all.
